• Persons attending hearings cannot access the Pillar Rooms via the Rotunda Hospital.
• Access can only be gained through the black gate on Parnell Square East.
• This gate is located to the right of the entrance to the Gate theatre.
• If the Pillar Room gate is not manned on your arrival, please press the intercom marked “Pillar Room” and you will be assisted

Taxis are available directly outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport. The journey time to the venue is approximately 30 minutes (depending on the time of day).

Dublin Bus operates the Airlink Bus 747 to and from Dublin Airport serving Dublin City Centre and bus and rail stations. The bus stop is located directly outside the arrivals halls of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The closest stop in Dublin City Centre is on O’Connell Street which is just a 5 minute walk from the venue. Dublin Bus operates the 16/16D (Towards Ballinteer) – Bus stop is located in Zone 15. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes from Dublin Airport to Parnell Square East. Head southeast on Parnell Square North, turn right and you are at the venue. It is a 6 minute walk approximately.

Dublin Bus operates the 41 (Towards Abbey Street) – Bus stop is located in Zone 15. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes from Dublin Airport to O’Connell Street Upper. Head north towards Parnell Street, turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right towards Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 5 minute walk approximately.

Aircoach route 700 operates from the front door of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport to O’Connell Street Upper (Gresham Hotel). The journey time is approximately 40 minutes. Buses operate every 30 minutes. From O’Connell Street Upper head north towards Cathal Brugha Street, turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right toward Cavendish Row, continue onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. 5 minute walk approximately. The two closest stops on the Green line Luas are O’Connell Street Upper which is a 5 minute walk approximately and Dominick Street which is a 6 minute walk approximately to the venue. The Green line Luas runs from Broombridge Station, down Dominick Street onto south Dublin destinations including Trinity College, Grafton Street and St Stephens Green. Abbey Street is the closest stop on the Red line Luas for destinations including Heuston Station, Connolly Station, Busáras and 3 Arena.

Take the Red line Luas (towards Tallaght) from Connolly Station to Abbey Street, it is 2 stops. Head west on Abbey Street Lower toward Harbour Court, turn right onto O’Connell Street Lower, continue onto O’Connell Street Upper, turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right toward Cavendish Row, continue onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 10 minute walk approximately.
Walking from Connolly Station, head south on Amiens Street toward Talbot Street, turn right onto Talbot Street, continue onto North Earl Street, turn right onto O’Connell Street Upper, turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right toward Cavendish Row, continue onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 16 minute walk approximately.

Take the Red line Luas (Towards the Point) from Heuston Station to Dublin City Centre, it is 5 stops to Abbey Street. Head west on Abbey Street Lower toward Harbour Court, turn right onto O’Connell Street Lower, continue onto O’Connell Street Upper, turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right toward Cavendish Row, continue onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 10 minute walk approximately.

Take the Red line Luas (Towards Tallaght/Saggart) from Busáras to Abbey Street, 1 stop only. Alternatively take the Green line Luas from O’Connell Street. Walk from Busáras, head southwest on Store Street toward Beresford Place, turn right onto Beresford Place, turn right onto Gardiner Street Lower, cross the road, slight right onto Abbey Street Lower, turn right onto Marlborough Street, turn left onto Sackville Place. Take the Green line Luas (towards Broombridge) from O’Connell Street GPO stop to O’Connell Street Upper, 1 stop only. Turn left onto Parnell Street, sharp right toward Cavendish Row, continue onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 5 minute walk approximately.

There is no onsite car parking available at The Pillar Rooms, Parnell Square. We recommend that guests park at nearby Park Rite Parnell Street Car Park.

Also nearby is Moore Lane Car Park – Moore Lane – Garage (parkopedia.ie) – it is a short distance from the venue. Head north on Moore Lane toward O’Rahilly Parade, turn right onto Parnell Street, turn left onto Cavendish Row, turn left and you are at the venue. It is a 5 minute walk approximately.
